Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage is a fully open access journal, with free and permanent unrestricted online access to scholarly research, which means that all articles are freely available on the internet without charge to all users immediately upon publication.

Non-commercial use and distribution in any medium are permitted, provided the author and the journal are properly credited. Users can read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. The only constraint on reproduction and distribution, and the only role for copyright in this domain, should be to give authors control over the integrity of their work and the right to be properly acknowledged and cited. This is in accordance with the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) definition of open access. We provide immediate free access to the full text of articles in “pdf” format. The Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage does not charge for article submission, processing or publication. This ‘Platinum’ open access policy increases the visibility and accessibility of the published content. From the beginning, the Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage has insisted on being an open-access journal, not charging fees to either authors or readers and providing no compensation to reviewers. We are very proud to maintain it as a major feature of the Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage. The full text articles are published online immediately after their procedures are finished and are openly and freely accessible afterwards. Each article can be downloaded individually, and the full text of each issue is available for anyone interested in the journal. The journal has its own website (http://www.jauh.upt.ro) which acts as an easily accessible user interface to the journal. No fees or subscriptions are required for access to the full text articles. Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage provides immediate open access to its electronic content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. We do not charge our authors any fees for publication or processing, nor do we charge readers to download articles. Journal of Architecture, Urbanism and Heritage is free to all at any time and in perpetuity.
